Job boards are the websites that helps in job searching. The jobs offered on these websites have wide range of job categories such as banking, marketing and sales, medicine and pharmaceutical, science, computers and technology, government jobs etc. These websites also include jobs like ethical jobs, green industry jobs, seasonal jobs etc.

Having such a wide range of job variety, the users can upload their resumes on the website and submit them to the prospective employers, whereas the employers can post their job ads in search of prospective employees for their companies.

It seems quite easy to get job by just sitting in front of your computer and wait for the employers to reach out you. But several evidences show that job boards are not that much beneficial as they seem to be.

The first evidence of job boards to be evil is that the employers are charged for posting jobs. This act limits the number of jobs on the websites because only the employers who are willing to pay can post their job ads on these websites. Thus, it also limits your number of choices for getting job.

Another evidence of evil is that the job boards promote themselves by giving ads that result in job hunters crowding to these sites with resumes. This makes it impossible for you to find the perfect job. If a job board publicizes and advertises, it indicates that there are lots of people who are going to apply for the jobs and your chances of getting that job are very fewer.

Job boards have millions of jobs on them, but to find the most appropriate job for you is to access to the opportunities and chances that only fewer people apply to. Fewer the people know about job opportunities, higher the chances for you to get the job.

Spending lot of your time on these job boards and waiting for the employers to approach you is also the evidence of evil. It is advisable to all the job seekers not to make use of job boards as the primary mean for searching of job, because it will only lead you to an unsatisfactory job search.
